Les récifs coralliens sont présents dans plus de 100 pays, équivalente à la superficie France. C'est l'un des écosystèmes les plus variés de notre planète. Il convient donc, dans ces régions et plus particulièrement en Guadeloupe, d'avoir conscience de l'impact des activités humaines sur l'environnement. Dans cette optique, une évaluation économique du patrimoine environnemental s'avère être indispensable pour une gestion durable des actifs naturels. L’objectif de cette étude exploratoire est d’estimer la valeur économique globale de la zone de Pigeon en Guadeloupe. Cet article utilise la méthode de l’évaluation contingente.
