Abstract
Ce texte porte sur le parcours militant et intellectuel de Richard Hudon, un Franco-Ontarien qui a joué un rôle clé dans la mobilisation et la conscientisation des ouvriers et des ouvrières de la région de Prescott-Russell au cours des années 1980. Plus particulièrement, cet article s’intéresse au rôle qu’a joué Hudon durant la grève d’Amoco en 1980 qui, selon notre étude, peut être considérée comme un événement marquant à l’origine de plusieurs initiatives qui ont cherché à faire converger la question sociale et la question nationale en Ontario français.
