Abstract
Les pays européens étudiés dans cet article mettent en oeuvre des réformes visant à favoriser une meilleure diffusion et commercialisation des résultats de la recherche publique afin de stimuler l’innovation privée. L’interprétation de l’action publique proposée se fonde sur l’identification de quatre conventions idéal-typiques intervenant dans le cadre de régimes nationaux en forte recomposition. Le poids croissant des conventions de « l’État régulateur » et de « l’État facilitateur », au détriment de « l’État entrepreneur » et, à un moindre degré, de « la République des sciences », impulse une diversification croissante de l’action collective. Celle-ci se fait moins dépendante de cadres institutionnels nationaux.
