L'importance des contenus publicitaires dans la programmation télévisuelle visant les enfants est depuis longtemps un objet de préoccupation sociale. Dans l'étude présentée, les contenus publicitaires sur l'alimentation auxquels les enfants québécois sont exposés quotidiennement sont analysés du double point de vue nutritionnel et communicationnel. L'analyse de ces contenus a permis de déterminer les types de produits annoncés, la fréquence et le moment de leur diffusion, les composantes nutritionnelles des aliments annoncés et les valeurs socioculturelles qui y sont associées.
