Abstract
<titre>Résumé</titre> En prenant l’exemple de l’association Attac en France, cet article tente de comprendre comment le mouvement « antimondialisation » né dans les années 1990 a contribué à renouveler la critique antilibérale. À la croisée des mobilisations, Attac s’est immiscée entre deux pôles traditionnels du paysage politique, nationaliste-protectionniste d’une part, et marxiste-internationaliste d’autre part. Tout en défendant l’idée d’un alliage inédit entre étatisme et démocratie participative, cette association a cependant évolué dans le sens d’une organisation classique de la gauche française, laissant progressivement de côté ses revendications globales au profit d’enjeux nationaux et locaux. Si Attac incarne le passage de l’anticapitalisme à l’antilibéralisme, elle ne parvient néanmoins pas à proposer un nouveau projet politique émancipateur.
