Abstract
Dans le cadre de l’éducation à la littérature, l’école est amenée à proposer aux élèves des objets culturels et des pratiques autour de ces objets qui peuvent parfois sembler éloignés de leurs habitus. Cependant, l’école ne peut pas renoncer à ses fonctions d’acculturation. Dès lors, comment faire en sorte que l’avancée proposée ne précipite pas les élèves dans une situation de rejet et d’abandon ? Comment les aider au mieux à s’approprier un territoire culturel nouveau ? Ce ne peut être en ignorant leurs références culturelles privées, mais au contraire en les prenant en compte à travers des propositions dialogiques et en usant d’activités créatives personnelles et impliquées comme mode d’appropriation d’une culture nouvelle.
