Abstract
Dans l’optique de mieux comprendre les opportunités offertes par la sociologie de l’environnement dans les études interdisciplinaires, cet article explore les fondements et l’évolution de cette discipline. En prenant à témoin le cas de l’agriculture alternative, il s’agit de faire état de la structuration du champ de la sociologie de l’environnement à travers la répartition de ses approches entre les deux pôles de la socialisation de la problématique environnementale et de la naturalisation de la société. Dans sa plus récente phase de développement, cette sociologie témoigne d’un découplage de cette dualité et de l’horizon interdisciplinaire.
