Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse à la consommation d’alcool et de drogues illicites des adolescents francophones. Un de ses principaux objectifs est de décrire les comportements à risque des élèves de la 9 e à la 12 e année des écoles rurales et urbaines de la Division scolaire franco-manitobaine (DSFM). On y présente la prévalence de la consommation d’alcool et de drogues des adolescents canadiens en comparaison avec celle des jeunes francophones du Manitoba. De plus, différents aspects, tels l’expérimentation, les facteurs de risques et les conséquences reliées à la consommation d’alcool et de drogues, sont abordés afin de brosser un tableau des comportements et des tendances de cette consommation. Dans l’ensemble, les résultats de l’enquête en milieu francophone minoritaire sont comparables à ceux obtenus chez la majorité anglophone.
