Abstract
Aux milieux des vicissitudes d’un monde financier dévoyé depuis plus de trente ans qui engendre extrême richesse et extrême pauvreté, l’année 2012, a mis en valeur, sous l’égide de l’ONU, les coopératives et par elles, les principes de « lucrativité » limitée, de développement local et responsable, de souci du terme moyen ou long, de la démocratie... Le cahier qu’Andrée De Serres, de l’université de Québec à Montréal et Michel Roux de l’Université Paris 13, ont dirigé sur les « banques coopératives et mutualistes », clôture cette année internationale onusienne. Il parachève ce numéro dont le premier dossier est consacré aux « approches de la finance » mais dont il est important de rappeler que la dette est l’un des points saillants pour les pays comme pour les entreprises.
