Abstract
Dans ce texte, l’auteur tente de démontrer que la dynamique contemporaine de transformation des modalités de régulation sociale (qui annonce le déclin de la régulation étatique dite providentielle) ne mène pas au chaos anarchisant appréhendé par certains analystes. Selon l’auteur, cela s’explique par le déploiement d’une nouvel imaginaire politique dit post-moderne qui remet à l’avant scène un discours qui fait la promotion de l’autorégulation et de la co-responsabilité sociale. Cet article veut principalement démontrer comment l’analyse conjointe de deux discours contemporains, sur le déclin de l’État-providence et sur le retour de l’éthique, nous aide à mieux saisir le jeu de transfert de régulation qui marque nos sociétés contemporaines.
