Tout en tenant compte du cadre global de changement dans les rapports sociaux de sexe et d'âge et de complexification des trajectoires de vie des femmes au cours des dernières décennies, cet article propose d'examiner les conceptions actuelles de la jeunesse et de l'âge adulte pour les femmes en privilégiant une approche phénoménologique qui permet d'aborder les âges de la vie par le biais des témoignages à partir de 29 récits de vie de femmes dans la trentaine provenant d'une enquête sur le désir d'enfant. Derrière un brouillage des seuils d'entrée à l'âge adulte et une diversification des scénarios de vie, l'analyse repère des stratégies distinctes d'articulation des trajectoires scolaires, professionnelles, conjugales et maternelles qui renvoient à des milieux spécifiques.
