L’étude de l’espace architectural par le mode d’exploration du parcours permet de comprendre les interactions existantes entre des corps appartenant à trois ordres distincts : l’espace bâti et son milieu physique interne, les acteurs présents et agissant en lui, les multiples objets et dispositifs d’usage qu’il contient. Il est toutefois trop simple de considérer seulement ces trois types de corps dans leur plénitude actorielle. La recherche poursuivie depuis plusieurs décennies a permis de montrer que l’interactivité manifestée par ces corps est à considérer non pas sur le plan de leur interactorialité, mais sur celui de leur interactantialité. La mise en évidence de celle-ci provient de la déconstruction de ces corps par l’analyse des programmes actantiels dans lesquels ils sont imbriqués. Le mode d’exploration de cette interactivité par l’analyse des parcours relatifs à ces programmes actantiels permet de comprendre comment cette interactantialité produit réellement les configurations abstraites des lieux de vie qui interfèrent dans l’espace habité. Certains éléments concrets de ces configurations abstraites de lieux forment ensemble les constellations de points remarquables prégnants. Ces constellations accompagnent les habitants et citadins tout au long de leurs parcours. Elles se transforment au rythme des séquences de leur déplacement, constituant leur véritable environnement significatif, sans cesse renouvelé.
