Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The influence of static magnetic correlations on the temperature-dependent superfluid density ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{s}(T)$ is calculated for $d$-wave superconductors. In self-consistent calculations, itinerant holes form incommensurate spin density waves (SDW) which coexist with superconductivity. In the clean limit, the density of states is gapped, and ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{s}(T⪡{T}_{c})$ is exponentially activated. In inhomogeneously doped cases, the SDW are disordered and both the density of states and ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{s}(T)$ obtain forms indistinguishable from those in dirty but pure $d$-wave superconductors, in accordance with experiments. We conclude that the observed collapse of ${\ensuremath{\rho}}_{s}$ at $x\ensuremath{\approx}0.35$ in underdoped $\mathrm{Y}{\mathrm{Ba}}_{2}{\mathrm{Cu}}_{3}{\mathrm{O}}_{6+x}$ may plausibly be attributed to the coexistence of SDW and superconductivity.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
