Abstract
Dans une approche socioculturelle l’auteur cherche, dans un premier temps, à documenter l’apparition et l’évolution de face book arabia et son succès chez les jeunes Arabes. Dans un deuxième temps, il tente d’analyser les caractéristiques socioculturelles des utilisateurs de ce site. En conclusion il suggère comment les internautes du monde arabe pourraient jouer un rôle dans la construction d’un nouvel espace public virtuel contestataire.
