A hybrid signalling scheme for cellular mobile networks over flat fading
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Although recent studies have shown the potential benefits of base station (BS) cooperation technology, existing schemes rely on the assumptions of (i) perfect backbone links between the central network controller (CNC) and the base stations (BSs), and (ii) mobile stations (MSs) at the cell edges. The contribution of this paper is twofold. The authors first relax the aforementioned assumptions and present an in-depth investigation of their impact on the performance of conventional and BS cooperation transmission techniques. A hybrid signalling algorithm for cellular multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) networks that performs well under such non-ideal scenarios is then presented. The proposed algorithm outperforms the joint transmitter minimum mean squared error (JT-MMSE) method at low to moderate signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). It is also shown to be more robust to imperfect channel estimates than the JT-MMSE method.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
