Abstract
Dans ce texte, je formulerai cinq questions et hypothèses de réponse qui peuvent être considérées comme autant de pistes possibles pour l'avenir de l'intervention sociale pratiquée tant dans le secteur communautaire que dans le secteur public de la santé et des affaires sociales. Je formulerai ces propositions en les mettant en relation avec quelques enjeux clés de la période actuelle par où passe aujoud'hui le changement social : l'intervention sur la question de l'emploi, l'intervention dans l'économie et l'intervention sur des territoires à pertinence sociale, les « communautés locales1 », enjeux qui commandent tous l'intersectorialité de l'intervention.
