Abstract
La Nuit de Ferron et l'Ascension du romancier polonais Konwicki se construisent sur le thème de l'errance dans la ville et le recours au passé biographique, qui inscrivent les conflits idéologiques sur le fond de l'imaginaire socio-culturel des deux écrivains. La dualité de la représentation de la ville (entre passé banlieusard et présent urbain) débouche sur une quête identitaire des personnages-narrateurs, dont l'amnésie individuelle participe de l'amnésie historique collective; le Château (ou Palais de la Culture) s'affirme comme le lieu paradigmatique de leur prise de conscience. Dans la Nuit , un double trajet identitaire de la mémoire permettra au personnage-narrateur de s'intégrer de façon nouvelle à l'espace-temps; dans l'Ascension, c'est la fuite dans le passé, vers un ordre des valeurs authentiques, qui pallie à l'irréversible aliénation idéologique.
