Le discours politique d'une communauté papoue Le discours politique des groupes dominés, les cultes du taro et la glossolalie sont présentés ici comme trois aspects d'un rite théâtral chez les Orokaiva. Notre analyse de ces " utopies vocales ", du discours que tiennent les participants aux cultes et les historiens orokaiva donne le cadre religio-philosophique dans lequel les Orokaiva eux-mêmes comprennent leur situation politique, leurs cultes et leurs prophètes. Nous assimilons cette analyse à l'anthropologie esthétique parce qu'elle est essentiellement polysémique, et parce que finalement ce qu'il faut expliquer se situe moins au niveau du système cognitif qu'au niveau de la mise en scène, des actions des acteurs et du contexte idéologique.
