Abstract
Résumé D'Amour, P. Q., qui pose directement la question de la production et de la réception du texte littéraire, continue de susciter l'intérêt du lectorat. La critique a d'abord été sensible aux aspects idéologiques de ce roman godboutien, écrit dans la foulée des événements d'octobre 1970. Notre relecture, qui s'appuie sur la théorie bakhtinienne, propose quant à elle de dégager l'esthétique du choc et de l'éclatement qui caractérise cette oeuvre. Si, quelque vingt ans après sa première publication, D'Amour, P. Q. retient toujours l'attention du lecteur; c'est parce qu'il s'agit fondamentalement d'un texte pluriel, marqué par les catégories du multiple, du discontinu, de l'hétérogène. La dynamique et la valeur du roman résident selon nous dans cette confrontation des voix, des genres, des styles et des idées que Godbout sait ici orchestrer de façon magistrale.
