Abstract
Dans le cadre d’un mémoire de recherche en psychologie clinique, nous nous sommes inspirées du blason familial de Caillé et Rey, pour explorer ce qui relie les membres d’une même fratrie dans leur culture d’appartenance. Le blason fraternel consiste à faire dessiner par la fratrie un blason qui illustre ses valeurs premières. Une devise chapeaute quatre cases, celles du présent, du passé, de l’avenir, complétées par le dessin d’un objet emblématique de la fratrie. Nous montrons comment cet outil permet à la fois la mise en lumière du mythe fraternel et la manière dont celui-ci se déploie et évolue dans l’histoire intergénérationnelle de la famille. Il est donc un outil remarquable pour travailler les ressources de la fratrie mais aussi celles de la famille à travers le prisme du sous-système fraternel.
