Abstract
IPv6 has a massive address ,multicast ,neighbor discovery, auto-configuration, service quality, removable and many other new features, as the core technology of the next generation IP( Internet Protocol).IPv4 to IPv6 transition is imperative.This paper discusses how to achieve a smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and researches deeply IPv6 tunneling technologies and IPv6 6to4 automatic tunneling technologies in the Windows circumstances.
