Abstract

Cet article poursuit un double objectif. D’une part, il traite des principes de la conception de la reconnaissance proposée dans le chapitre IV-A de la Phénoménologie de l’esprit . D’autre part, il s’interroge sur les conséquences de cette conception pour la philosophie sociale et politique contemporaine. Le premier objectif conduit à analyser l’architecture du chapitre IV-A et la manière dont les développements de la Realphilosophie d’Iéna sont reformulés. Le second objectif passe par un examen des débats contemporains relatifs à l’épistémologie de la reconnaissance, au rôle du conflit dans les relations de reconnaissance et à la fonction de la reconnaissance dans les rapports de domination.
