Abstract
Reproduction de mécanismes génériques, réplique d’oeuvres particulières, écho de la parole d’autrui, ritournelle des lieux communs, leitmotiv de la proliférante généalogie du dieu local, recréation d’espèces animales et végétales : Graal Flibuste, que son auteur Robert Pinget, trente ans après sa parution, décrivait comme une « parodie bourrée de poncifs », cultive la répétition savamment détournée jusqu’au vertige. À étudier ce jeu sur la reconnaissance et la subversion, où l’écart généré par l’inscription dialogique constitue le ressort du comique, il apparaît que la répétition, communément perçue depuis les travaux de Bergson comme une source essentielle du comique en tant qu’elle introduit le mécanique au coeur du vivant, entraîne ici le rire par l’attente qu’elle s’emploie à susciter pour mieux la déjouer, moyen pour l’écrivain de porter ludiquement atteinte au mécanisme qui fonde sa pratique afin de n’en être pas dupe.
