Abstract
Dans cette introduction, l'éditrice présente de manière assez détaillée les onze contributions de ce numéro, qui éclairent particulièrement bien l'actualité. En effet, les six articles ont trait respectivement aux questions de militarisation et de politique du genre (A. Michel); et de restructuration économique en Europe centrale de l'Est, au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord (V. Mognadam); aux liens à établir entre les activités de production et de reproduction dans les projets de développement destinés aux femmes en général (H. Ryckmans) et, en particulier, aux femmes colombiennes (M.F. Labrecque) et saharia de l'Inde (A. Chauhan), de même qu'au rapport entre migration et connaissance du sida au Cameroun (M. de Loenzien et H. Parizot). Le présent numéro n'aurait pas été complet s'il n'avait inclus, d'une part, des témoignages sur la situation des femmes dans les conflits internes en Algérie (M.-B. Tahon) et au Rwanda (E. Mukakayumba) et, d'autre part, des réflexions critiques sur les effets dans la vie des femmes (en Haïti, par exemple; M. Neptune Anglade) des conférences mondiales des Nations Unies qui ont marqué les deux dernières décennies, dont celles tenues au Caire (Y. Pelchat) et à Dakar (F. Sow) en 1994.
