Abstract
Résumé L’escalade du passage à l’acte autodestructeur survenant à l’adolescence est ici envisagée comme la répétition compulsive d’un trauma ou de micro traumas répétés, survenu(s) durant la petite enfance et qui a (ont) trait à l’absence de l’autre et au sentiment de vide qui en résulte. Les différentes fonctions que peut avoir cette compulsion de répétition sont examinées, notamment en lien avec la quête identitaire à l’adolescence. Finalement, l’auteur aborde la question du travail mental qui est attendu du clinicien dans le travail avec les adolescents chez qui ces enjeux sont présents, particulièrement lorsque la parole ne peut pas être utilisée à des fins de communication intersubjective.
