Abstract
Une part essentielle du comique de Molière met en jeu l’incommunicabilité sous tous ses aspects. Cette thématique répond à la problématique de la communication inscrite dans la philosophie cartésienne sous la forme de la communication entre les idées et les vérités, entre les corps et les mouvements, entre le corps et l’esprit, problématique qui donne lieu dans les années de la production de Molière à la naissance des doctrines occasionalistes, dont on trouve la trace dans ses comédies : cette philosophie et ce théâtre-là manifestent une même crise de la communication, typique du passage d’une société et d’une civilisation à une autre.
