Abstract
This article examines the work of two contemporary Nova Scotia theatre artists, Mary Ellen MacLean and Lee-Anne Poole. The authors focus on how the work of both artists explores multiple notions of queerness through innovative theatrical languages. The article combines interviews with MacLean and Poole with analysis of key performances and situates their work within the context of queer performance in Nova Scotia.
