Abstract
L’article s’ouvre par quelques rappels relatifs au texte littéraire: inscription du texte littéraire dans le pôle esthétique de la compréhension et de la production des textes, place et rôle des textes littéraires dans les contenus d’apprentissage scolaires, finalités du texte littéraire et évolution des théories littéraires. La deuxième section de l’article présente quelques orientations du travail pédagogique à mener sur les textes littéraires, avec quelques exemples illustrant deux mots-clés: analyse et réaction critique. La troisième section est consacrée à un genre narratif particulier – la nouvelle littéraire – et illustre, avec des exemples pratiques, son fort potentiel pédagogique. La dernière section élargit le propos en proposant quelques pistes de projets d’exploration de l’univers des textes littéraires. L’article se termine en soulignant l’enjeu fondamental de la lecture de textes littéraires en contexte scolaire: l’instauration d’une «lecture littéraire».
