The article is concerned with the role and place of the service men in agrarian developing of Tomsk uyezd in the first quarter of the XVIII century, the profile structure of the service population in the villages of Podgorny, Spassky and Chulimsky camps. It also considers the family pattern of this order (population, structure, age) and makes its comparison with the peasant family one.
