Abstract
Sommaire Cette étude, impliquant 66 PME canadiennes, montre que l'intensité des activités de veille stratégique, tout comme l'importance accordée à la planification stratégique et opérationnelle, seraient des facteurs de réussite pour leurs opérations à l'étranger, particulièrement sur des marchés émergents. Bien que l'attention portée à l'exercice de planification opérationnelle semble être le facteur de succès le plus important, les dirigeants des PME les plus performantes ont accordé une attention toute particulière à la détermination de la mission de leur entreprise, élément clé de la planification stratégique. Nous décrivons l'état des facteurs chez les entreprises les plus et les moins performantes.
