En se basant sur les travaux d’Olivier Mesly (1999, 2010, 2010a, 2011, 2011a), cet article présente la théorie de la prédation en marketing. D’un format largement théorique, il ajoute toutefois une analyse qualitative et quantitative du modèle de prédation en marketing (modèle consolidé de prédation financière (CMFP)), suite à une recherche dans le contexte de la vente automobile. Le modèle et la recherche permettent d’identifier cinq facteurs-clés de succès dans la vente automobile. Mots-clés : Prédation perçue ; Modèle consolidé de prédation financière (CMFP) ; Prédateurs ; Proies ; Vulnérabilité.
