Abstract
Résumé Ce texte se propose de rendre compte de l’un des objets de recherche travaillés par l’Institut de recherche sur les pratiques éducatives de l’Université de Sherbrooke et plus généralement par le réseau-observatoire international sur la professionnalisation dans les métiers relationnels et de l’interaction humaine. Deux des laboratoires membres de ce réseau-observatoire sont à l’origine de ce texte (IRPE et CIREL ; équipe interne Trigone-CIREL). Proposer d’étudier, d’analyser et de comprendre les processus de professionnalisation, c’est entreprendre de répondre à trois questions : quels sont les fondements épistémologiques et cadres d’analyse pouvant être mobilisés pour décrire, étudier et comprendre les processus de professionnalisation ? Quels sont les principaux concepts ou construits mobilisés et comment sont-ils épistémologiquement « légitimés » ? Quels sont les obstacles ou zones d’ombre identifiés dans l’étude des processus de professionnalisation ? Nous tenterons de répondre à ces trois questions en privilégiant deux perspectives : l’apprentissage professionnel et le développement professionnel.
