Abstract
L’objet de cet article est d’amorcer une réflexion sur les freins et les moteurs agissant sur la diffusion d’une démarche de management environnemental en PME. Après avoir présenté l’engagement environnemental en PME comme un enjeu stratégique malgré l’existence de freins internes et externes indéniables, nous explicitons la voie de la démarche collective comme solution pertinente pour surmonter ces obstacles. Les moteurs d’une démarche environnementale collective relevés dans cette étude confirment les résultats d’études antérieures et incitent à approfondir d’autres voies comme la recherche d’opportunités stratégiques. L’analyse des freins est présentée selon les trois phases de la démarche : préparation, déroulement et suivi.
