Abstract
Les différences de forme entre le signal dans les langues signées et celui des langues orales pourraient mener à croire qu’il n’y a pas de niveau phonologique dans les langues signées analogue à celui des langues orales. Cependant, il existe de nombreuses preuves de phénomènes phonologiques dans les langues signées. Cet article démontre le rôle que joue la phonologie métrique dans la détermination de la forme de certains signes en contexte phrastique.
