Abstract
Cet article traite de la dotation d’un statut éthique au règne végétal, moralement hiérarchisé et stratifié. Nous isolons trois champs problématiques connexes qui entrecroisent une conception dynamique et morale du végétal, en utilisant l’exemple des plantes dites invasives : la tension entre le contrôlé et le contrôlable ; le rapport des mots et des choses, soit les modalités de catégorisation du « réel » dans les pratiques scientifiques ; et finalement la dialectique de la production et de la consommation des pratiques sociales. Cela conduit à nous interroger sur la réception des discours experts et les normes de régulation, et appeler à une plus grande prise en compte de ces facteurs dans le champ de la gestion de la biodiversité et des espèces invasives.
