Abstract
L'objectif principal de cet article est d'évaluer l'accessibilité spatiale aux parcs pour les enfants à Montréal et de vérifier ainsi la présence d'injustices environnementales. Alors que la plupart des études antérieures se limitent à mesurer l'accessibilité aux parcs sans tenir compte de leur taille et des équipements qu'ils comprennent, notre recherche repose sur une méthodologie intégrant ces deux éléments. Nos résultats permettent d'apporter un éclairage nouveau et plus nuancé à l'analyse de l'accessibilité aux parcs urbains. Ils démontrent que bien qu'il y ait des variations dans l'accessibilité aux parcs et à leurs équipements sur l'île de Montréal, les enfants ne sont pas victimes d'injustice environnementale flagrante. En effet, peu de secteurs de recensement combinent à la fois de fortes proportions d'enfants et une faible accessibilité aux parcs et à leurs équipements.
