Abstract
Plus des trois quarts des Françaises et des Français déclarent être préoccupés par des problèmes d’environnement, mais moins de la moitié adoptent des pratiques volontaires de préservation de la Planète. Comment l’engagement écologique se traduit-il en actions inscrites dans les pratiques quotidiennes? En quoi l’engagement écologique remet-il en question la division sexuelle du travail domestique et familial? Une enquête, réalisée auprès de couples ayant des enfants en bas âge, montre notamment que, autour de l’exemple de la mise en oeuvre d’une pratique écologique, soit l’utilisation des couches lavables, se cristallisent des enjeux sexués, qui participent notamment à l’intensification du temps de travail domestique.
