Abstract
Cette note de recherche présente une critique des explications ordinairement données quant à la réussite scolaire des filles, en montrant leur caractère fortement stéréotypé. Elle propose une explication en fait de stratégies et d'attitudes face à l'école, au personnel enseignant et aux autres élèves. L'auteure illustre cette proposition par l'analyse qualitative d'une séquence de mathématiques à l'école primaire qui montre l'inégalité de traitement des filles et des garçons par l'enseignante, mais aussi des différences de positionnement des élèves selon leur sexe et leur origine sociale.
