Abstract
Résumé Les femmes ouvrières de Russie voient leur situation profondément détériorée par les transformations sociales de marché. Celles-ci aggravent la division sexuée du travail et les discriminations dont elles sont l’objet. Surtout, elles soumettent la majorité des ouvriers à une grande instabilité, ce qui les oblige à développer des pratiques de "débrouille" de toutes sortes. Les hommes ouvriers se chargent surtout de la "débrouille" dans le monde professionnel, alors que les femmes assument la charge physique et surtout nerveuse de la gestion de la sphère domestique. Discriminations et division sexuée du travail sont liées aux représentations sociales qui mettent en avant la femme-mère et la femme féminine. Dans les faits, la femme ouvrière est cependant avant tout une travailleuse du précaire usant sa vie à la gagner. Par ce trait principal, sa vie se distingue peu de celle des hommes ouvriers. Pour prendre toute la mesure de la condition des femmes ouvrières, la problématique du genre doit donc être articulée à celle de déconstruction du groupe ouvrier.
