Abstract
Dans le cadre de cet article, l’auteur traite de la question des droits des femmes arabes dans un contexte international marqué par les changements politiques et par les transitions sociétales que connaît le monde arabo-musulman. En se référant à la théorie cyclique des révolutions de Crane Brinton et par un retour à l’histoire, loin de tout cynisme idéologique, l’auteur démontre que les grandes révolutions qui ont façonné les relations internationales depuis le 17 e siècle, ont été souvent sources d’atteintes aux droits des femmes en dépit des sacrifices consentis par ces femmes pour faire réussir le « fait révolutionnaire ».
