Abstract
Le présent article sur les tenants de la réforme de l’entreprise, qui prônaient la participation à la gestion et le partage des profits, s’attache plus à cerner leur attitude à l’égard de l’industrialisation rapide du Québec et des réformes nécessaires dans le monde du travail. Une attention particulière est portée au débat entourant la Lettre pastorale sur le problème ouvrier de 1950. L’on y montre comment les pressions des éléments conservateurs ont mené à d’importantes modifications de sa première version rédigée par la Commission sacerdotale d’études sociales, un document inédit intitulé Condition ouvrière.
