Abstract
Production de savoir et effets de pouvoir Le eus de la délinquance des Autochtones au Canada La surreprésentation des Autochtones en milieu carcéral, considérée en général comme un problème social inquiétant au Canada, a fait l'objet de plusieurs explications scientifiques que l'on peut répartir selon deux manières différentes de construire l'objet problématique. La première prétend que ce phénomène indique une tendance spécifique des Autochtones à la délinquance, pour différentes raisons à éclaircir. alors que d'après la deuxième, il serait le symptôme d'un problème mutuel d'ajustement entre les Autochtones et le système de justice criminelle canadien. Une analyse •• généalogique " de ces discours scientifiques montre comment ils peuvent avoir des effets apparemment imprévus sur le monde social, notamment sur les rapports politiques entre les Autochtones et l'Etat canadien, illustrant ainsi les liens complexes des discours et de l'action, du savoir et du pouvoir.
