Abstract
Les préjugés et stéréotypes sur les « voleurs de jobs » et « les voleurs de pays » ont beau être tenaces, bon an mal an, le Québec ouvre ses frontières à des milliers de nouveaux arrivants qui représentent une population en besoin de services sociaux. Partant de ce constat, l'auteur se propose de présenter les principales caractéristiques et les grandes étapes de l'adaptation des services sociaux à la présence des immigrants et des réfugiés, puis de dégager des pistes d'action pour l'avenir.
