Hyalinizing Trabecular Tumor of the Thyroid Gland : Much Ado About Nothing?
Bibliographic record
Abstract
describethe application of this finding to thyroid fine-needle aspirates. This study immediately provokes 2 questions: (1) What is theclinical usefulness of this test? (2) What is this entity that hascome to be known as hyalinizing trabecular tumor (HTT) ofthe thyroid? To assess the clinical usefulness of MIB-1 staining of thy-roid aspirates, one must consider the situations in which MIB-1 staining would be used and the significance of a positive anda negative MIB-1 result. The authors acknowledge that MIB-1staining would be prohibitively expensive if applied generally. It can equally be argued that MIB-1 would be of little use incases that can be recognized by cytomorphologic features asHTT. Thus, MIB-1 staining would be of greatest use in aspi-rates in which there is a suspicion of HTT, but the cytologicfeatures alone are inadequate to allow a definitive diagnosis.Casey et al

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
