Abstract
O artigo descreve um livro elaborado para professores, um texto sinóptico resumindo e justapondo pesquisas que possibilitam aos professores complicar a conversa curricular na qual eles e seus alunos estão engajados. Reconstrói a cena primária, lembrando o pacto entre Jeová e os israelitas no Velho Testamento e argumentando que o racismo branco se relaciona a esse pacto, que envolve a repressão do desejo sexual entre pai e filho e a projeção da diferença sexual para os "Outros". As razões para a reconstrução dessa cena sobre raça no Ocidente são curriculares. Ela objetiva que os professores possam entender as formas contínuas e mutantes do racismo branco.
