Abstract
河川生活期のサクラマス幼魚の飢餓の指標を検索するため, 春季の天然及び孵化場産並びに冬季の天然の当歳魚を用い, それぞれ給餌群と絶食群に分け, 肝臓中のトリグリセリド (TG) およびグリコーゲン (GC) 含量の変化を分析した。季節や魚の違いに関わらず, TG含量は緩やかに減少した。絶食群のTG含量の値が給餌群の値よりも有意に低くなるとき, 死亡する魚が出現する傾向にあった。そのためTG含量は, 生死に関わる飢餓の指標となる可能性が考えられた。一方GC含量は季節により動向が異なり, 飢餓の指標とするにはそれを考慮すべきと考えられた。
