Abstract
Neste trabalho, apresentamos as ligações que devemos compreender e elaborar entre a filosofia de gestão do dirigente e seus processos inconscientes. O quadro de referência teórico está montado sobre três conceitos básicos: demanda, restrições e escolha (variabilidade das práticas). O estudo da variabilidade das práticas pede outros conceitos, tais como o de teorias em uso do dirigente. Nossa contribuição é demonstrar que essa noção (teorias em uso) omite certas dimensões do sujeito que chamamos de teoria implícita. Em suma, nosso estudo mostra que qualquer pessoa, inclusive o líder, tem teorias implícitas e que estas influenciam muito na elaboração de suas teorias em uso; teorias que ele utiliza todos os dias na ação de direção dos negócios. O estudo de caso em profundidade visa dar apoio a essa contribuição. A filosofia de gestão dos dirigentes está baseada em idéias, noções, valores, crenças e convicções. Porém, o conjunto desses elementos está organizado e estruturado em diferentes níveis, a saber, os elementos cognitivos, as idéias e noções; elementos que são influenciados por dimensões emocionais. Isso se revela pela análise em profundidade do caso de um dirigente. Neste artigo, analisaremos um caso que mostra a coerência no plano de idéias/conceitos de gestão e as conexões com a história familiar do dirigente e com sua vida inconsciente (teoria implícita).
