Abstract
Ce bref commentaire suggère quelques questionnements susceptibles d’aider à circonscrire différents aspects de l’antilibéralisme au Québec. L’auteur suggère d’examiner ce thème selon les trois lignes directrices de la théorie classique du libéralisme : le libéralisme politique considéré dans ses deux dimensions fondamentales, à savoir l’État limité en pouvoir et l’État limité dans ses champs d’intervention ; les rapports complexes entre libéralisme et démocratie, soit les questions de la liberté et de l’égalité, c’est-à-dire de limitation des pouvoirs et de sa distribution ; le libéralisme et la régulation des conflits, en particulier le conflit industriel. Toutefois, la prise en considération d’un tel cadrage conceptuel ne saurait faire l’économie d’un examen détaillé des dynamiques sociales endogènes et exogènes à l’origine du discours et des pratiques de l’antilibéralisme.
