Abstract
A partir du suivi de différents professeurs, animateurs et formateurs de professeurs pratiquants l'Education relative à l'Environnement (ErE) et à partir d'interviews de divers acteurs scolaires, les éléments législatifs qui influencent la pratique de l'ErE par les professeurs de science en Belgique francophone ont été recensés (de manière approfondie certes, mais difficilement exhaustive). Ces éléments contextuels ont permis de développer, en réponse, ce que l'on peut appeler une "compétence de relecture de programme" permettant à ces professeurs de se dégager une marge de manœuvre pour pratiquer l'ErE. Après une présentation de ce contexte particulier, nécessaire à la compréhension de la proposition de compétence, cette dernière est décortiquée et exemplifiée
