Abstract
Le régime juridique du financement de la vie politique en France est apparu seulement à partir de 1988. Étape par étape, il est devenu désormais complexe tout en étant exigeant à l’égard des candidats, des partis politiques et des décideurs publics. La transparence a réussi à s’imposer. Toutefois, la volonté réformatrice des autorités françaises s’est révélée être minimaliste dans certains secteurs. La transparence externe (c’est-à-dire celle dont bénéficient directement les citoyens) est, en France, globalement faible. Cette situation maintient donc la présence de zones d’ombre préjudiciable, à terme, à l’amélioration des relations entre les citoyens et la classe politique.
